Have you noticed that the once all too common little House Sparrow is not so common anymore? This little bird that used to be seen everywhere globally seems to be disappearing! Once found in huge numbers all across the world, the House Sparrow has sadly made its way onto the endangered species list, due mainly to increased urbanization with its associated pollution and construction, and also changes in weather. This particular fellow was loudly berating me because his feeder was empty ... though I prefer to believe he was happily singing his little heart out for me on a wonderful spring day!
