House Sparrows are active little birds that eat great quantities of weed seeds, making them true friends in the garden, where they can provide natural weed control. They’re very social with a tendency to congregate in groups to feed in crowded flocks and squabble over crumbs or seeds on the ground. Or sometimes, they just like to perch on a fence and chirp their little hearts out.
