Perhaps I'm a little strange, but one of my very favourite places to visit for both plein air sketching and reference photos is Notre Dame cemetery in Ottawa. It's filled with statuary and alive with crows and so many other birds and small wildlife. Despite the somewhat spooky and gloomy atmosphere, I find it so very peaceful and beautiful there. This drawing is the result of one of my many visits there.
